Residential photovoltaic self-consumption underwent significant changes in 2025 with the reduction in the government's surplus purchase price to €0.04/kWh, which called into question the economic balance and led to changes in models: a shift to other forms of valorization, the addition of physical batteries, etc. To support individuals, the Resource Center run by Hespul has created a tool called “Mon Parcours Solaire” (My Solar Journey) to provide clarity and offer personalized estimates.
